AMT PostPro SFX

AMT has launched the world’s first desktop vapor smoothing system, utilizing the cutting-edge and eco-friendly chemical PostPro Pure, which is FDA-approved. Compatible with engineering-grade plastics, this system supports parts printed with multiple 3D printing technologies, delivering high-quality vapor-smoothed surface finishes—even in an office environment.

What is Vapour Smoothing and Why Do You Need It?

Vapour smoothing for 3D printing is a process where additive manufactured parts are exposed to controlled vapor conditions. This non-line-of-sight technique results in parts with smooth surfaces, enhanced mechanical properties, sealed, and sterilizable finishes. This innovative technology unlocks new applications across medical, automotive, food & beverage, and consumer goods industries.

AMT Patented Technology

Based on AMT’s years of expertise in chemical vapor smoothing.

Patents: EP3565712, GB2582225, and GB2597240B.

Enhanced Part Performance

This proprietary technology smooths and seals both the outer surface and internal cavities of 3D printed polymer parts while enhancing mechanical properties. Post-processed parts show up to 60% reduction in MRSA bacterial growth.

TUP LITE Software

The SFX interface is designed for maximum user-friendliness. Users input part thickness, chamber fill level, and part characteristics. After a quick visual check, enter all parameters to begin the vapor smoothing process.

Compatible Technologies

Optimized for rigid nylons and continuously expanding material compatibility.

Compatible with SLS, MJF, and HSS technologies.
